TWELVEBEADS LAUNCHES IMPROVE OUR CONSCIOUS CONTACT (IOCC), A NOT FOR PROFIT BLOG FOR THE TWELVE STEP RECOVERY COMMUNITY…

TwelveBeads, a leading e-tailer of handmade prayer beads exclusively for the Twelve Step community, announces the launch of
ImproveOurConsciousContact.blogspot (IOCC).  This Twelve Step recovery based blog focuses on Step Eleven, “Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact”.

IOCC is in its sixth month and continues to grow.  Once a month John R. posts a question about Step Eleven and through out the month the writers post their responses.  The blog brings together seven writers to date, from varied religious backgrounds.  Contributors to this blog join together to help those who are just starting this journey as well as giving new perspectives to those who are well on their way.

Contributors include:
     ·  Carol Ann Preston - author of "Remembering Who We Are: a workbook". Host of The Carol Ann Preston Show      podcast on Take12Radio.com
     ·  David Lee Byrd - author of “Living A Spiritual Life” and “Life Seeds”
     ·  Dick B - author of “The Conversion of Bill W. More on the Creator's Role in Early A.A.”, “The Good Book and The       Big Book” and 29 other titles. Host of AA History podcast on Take12Radio.com
     ·  Gail M DeWitt - author of “Conscious Contact” and talk show host of Conscious Contact TV

     ·  Rabbi Yisrael Pinson - Director of the Daniel B. Sobel Friendship House in West Bloomfield, MI., FinallyFree blog contributor, teacher of classes on Judaism & Recovery and co-founder of CHERUS

The readers become proactive in this Step Eleven exploration by taking The IOCC Challenge.  Bloggers can copy and paste the monthly question to their own blogs and answer the question or people can start an IOCC journal to write on a private level. Forums can also host a thread dedicated to these questions.

The Monthly Question is the IOCC newsletter.  Each month a selected contributor will answer two questions on their own.  The answers to these questions are posted on the "About The Writers" page.
